About the modes

ROT13

A classic Caesar cipher shifted 13 places. Applying it twice restores the original — it's self-inverse. Used historically for spoilers and mild obfuscation in forum posts.

ROT47

Like ROT13 but rotates all 94 printable ASCII characters (! through ~) by 47. Affects letters, digits, and punctuation. Also self-inverse.

Upside Down

Uses Unicode characters that visually resemble flipped Latin letters. The text is also reversed so it reads naturally when rotated 180°.

Reverse Words

Keeps each word intact but reverses their order. Useful for reversing numbered lists, ordered sequences, or checking if your text makes sense backwards.
